Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen Peroxide with dish soap and baking soda is great for removing skunk smell. We went through a bit of the mix last summer.

I'm de-skunking the handle of the knife I used back then. My peroxide was out in the garage, frozen.

Hydrogen Peroxide at the pharmacy is in a 1% or 3% solution with water.

Hydrogen Peroxide thaws at 31 degrees F.

I didn't know this second part. There were some droplets on the top of the bottle when I set it on the counter. My hands began to tingle and get all blotchy and white.

After soaking my hands in warm water and baking soda for about 10 minutes they are mostly back to normal. Just a couple of small white spots, and a tight feeling on some fingers.

Be careful with Hydrogen peroxide.
